Currently, Kitsap County's FALL EMT class has been moved to January 2021. 

 

Waiting for the next class? While we work out all the details of holding an EMT with COVID restrictions, you can work on your prerequisites. Documentation of each need to be included with your application. 

1. You must be 18 and have a high school diploma or GED.

2. Proof of an American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR Card.

3. Take the Accuplacer test score qualifying you for English 101 or completion of English 101 or equivalent from an accredited post-secondary institution. (High School AP coursed will not be considered adequate, and a passing score of 75% on the "I/O Solutions Selection Inventory Test".

4.   Immunizations needed:

  • MMR,
  • TB w/in a year,
  • Tetanus w/in the last 10 years,
  • Hepatitis B,
  • Varicella or titer proof of immunity,
  • Current flu shot.
