Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely, we understand that life can get busy, and we appreciate your commitment to your education. However, it’s important to note that this is an intensive and fast-paced course, covering a substantial amount of material. Regular attendance is highly encouraged to ensure you make the most of your learning experience.

We do keep a record of class attendance, and our policy states that students may be at risk of being dropped from the course if they accumulate absences exceeding 10 percent of the total hours of instruction, including both lecture and practical sessions. For instance, in a 180-credit-hour lecture/practical course, students would be at risk after 18 hours of absence.

The good news is that our weekly lectures are conducted via Zoom, providing you with the flexibility to attend from anywhere with an internet connection. This convenience is designed to accommodate your busy schedules and ensure that you can access the course material without the need for in-person attendance.

However, please bear in mind that Saturday labs are in-person and are crucial for hands-on practice of your real-life skills. We offer a limited number of 11 labs throughout the course, making them more challenging to make up if missed. In the event you anticipate difficulties in attending a Saturday lab, we strongly encourage you to proactively reach out to your instructor *before the class* to discuss your options. They will work with you to find the best solution to ensure you can engage with the practical aspects of the course effectively.

Your success is important to us, and we want to support you in every way possible. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re here to help you achieve your educational goals.
